This week the Disneyland Railroad engine the Ward Kimball had an issue with it’s axle causing the train to be evacuated over the Frontierland entrance to Galaxy’s Edge. Multiple outlets reported last week that a section of the Matterhorn exterior detached and fell off the mountain. This caused the Tomorrowland side of the attraction to be down, which resulted in longer than usual wait times. Scrims have been installed and repair work should be underway. No word on what caused the falling pieces, but there has been speculation that the Matterhorn is in worse shape than anyone thinks, to earthquake damage, to water damage from the nearby waterfall. – https://www.micechat.com/232989-disneyland-update-matterhorn-crumbles-train-fail-and-hauntingly-big-crowds/
