It may seem like 2022 is a long way off, but not in theme park years! Construction has started on Mickey and Minnie’s Runaway Railway in Toontown. The new attraction will be built in an area that is currently backstage behind the Gag Factory store in Toontown. The construction work will require the removal of some of the mountains of Toontown during the construction and no decorative scrim will be installed to cover the backstage work. The new trackless dark ride is scheduled to open in 2022 in Disneyland and this Spring in Hollywood Studios in Florida. – https://www.ocregister.com/2019/10/04/disneyland-begins-work-on-mickey-and-minnies-runaway-railway-dark-ride-in-toontown/
