News:
Last Friday, Mickey’s Mix Magic premiered with fireworks as it fell in the Friday through Monday schedule that will include them. Tuesday through Thursdays will only have the projections and laser parts of the show. Reviews have been positive and from what we have seen online, it looks like a good show. It will be nice to have a nighttime spectacular every night at Disneyland, even in the off season. – https://www.micechat.com/215061-disneyland-update-rainy-days-and-new-magic/

Back in November, we reported on new dryers that were installed in California Adventure near Grizzly River Run. This past week the dryers have disappeared. Cast members have reported that they will be coming back in a more permanent form in the future. Grizzly River Run is currently down for its annual winter refurbishment, so the dryers aren’t being missed yet. – https://micechat.com/214385-disneyland-resort-photo-update-get-your-beers-on/
Here is a little fun trivia for you: Did you know that the new Tropical Hideaway holds a nod to the Society of Explorers and Adventurers? Do you even know what that is? Well, it is a collection of fictional characters associated with attractions around the world. It started in 2001 with the launch of Tokyo DisneySea. The members are included at Hong Kong Disneyland, Walt Disney World, Disney Cruise Line, and now Disneyland. The new name at Disneyland in the hideaway is “C. Falco.” So who is that? C. Falco is Camellia Falco who is part of the backstory for the new Soaing: Fantastic Flight coming to DisneySea. The new attraction will be their take on the Soarin’ ride system. – https://www.ocregister.com/2019/01/22/disneyland-offers-a-clue-into-a-secret-society-of-theme-park-characters/
