News this Week:
This past Saturday, Santa’s sleigh malfunctioned on him, sending the gifts and Santa himself tumbling toward the ground. Santa was held in by his safety harness and was able to be helped out, allowing the parade to continue. Santa now appears as part of the mail room float. As we have reported on previously, the walkway near the Haunted Mansion was being widened, decreasing the planter in that area. The wall has come down and the new space now houses outdoor vending that was once located on the bridge by Splash Mountain. The area looks good and they were able to keep some of the planter there instead of completely removing them like has happened in other areas of the park. – https://micechat.com/212103-disneyland-update-the-year-disneyland-almost-killed-santa/
