Currently, the Blue Sky Cellar in DCA still features an exihibit on Pixar Pier, however rumor has it that plans are in the works for Star Wars to take over the space in January! – https://micechat.com/209490-disneyland-resort-update-its-festival-time/

Forum user Darkbeer1 on WDWMagic.com posted some new bridge artwork from a city council meeting that appears to show the pedestrian bridge over Magic Way from the new Cleo parking structure. The image appears to show the bridge coming over Magic Way and then curving around the exisitng surface parking lot. The jury is still out on if the walkway continues to be elevated after it crosses Magic Way, or if it descends down an escalatior. Take a look at the link in the show notes at disneylandweekly.com and let us know what you think it does. – https://darkbeer.smugmug.com/Theme-Parks/Magic-Way-Bridge/i-JCsjLQJ/A

The new, must have, popcorn bucket is on sale now at the Disneyland Resort! The Alien Santa holiday themed buckets feature our favorite little green man from Toy Story dressed up in his very own Santa suit. The buckets can be found at the popcorn stand in Tomorrowland. They are $20 each and are limited to one per guest per transaction. – https://micechat.com/209490-disneyland-resort-update-its-festival-time/

As we have been reporting on, Disney and the City of Anaheim have has a rocky relationship the last couple of years. Well, after the election last week, Disney has a favorable Anaheim city council and Mayor again. This should make it easier for Disney to push through future plans for the resort. However, the election wasn’t a complete win. Measure L which made the living wage $15 an hour for certain companies in the Anaheim Resort district passed with a narrow margin. Measure L would apply on to those businesses receiving tax breaks in the district. – https://www.mouseplanet.com/12233/Disneyland_Resort_Update_for_November_13__18_2018#news4

There are several smaller stories this week that we thought were worth mentioning. First, several shops are offering customizations of ornaments. For those of you wanting to ride the icy slopes of the Matterhorn, you will be able to again on November 17th. There are a few new photo walls for you to pose with at the Hollywood Pictures Backlot in DCA. One of the new walls is in support to the #ShareYourEars campaign and includes scenes of Grizzly Peak, the Pal a Round, and World of Color. You have until 11/17 to take a photo showing off your ear, upload it to Facebook, Instagram, or Twitter with #shareyourears and Disney will donate $5 to Make-A-Wish! – https://micechat.com/209461-disneyland-resort-update-christmas-2018-unwrap/ – Ornaments
