Later this month Tiana’s Bayou Adventure will open in Walt Disney World. Here at Disneyland, we are still a few months away, with no official date as of the recording of this episode. Disney has released video of the attraction in a few places. – https://www.micechat.com/262305-breaking-news-splash-mountain-to-become-princess-and-the-frog-themed/

Construction in Critter Country will be expanding soon. Currently, Critter Country is partially closed, with Hungry Bear and the path to Galaxy’s Edge still open to guests. These two locations will be closed starting July 8th. – https://www.micechat.com/387975-disneyland-news-bayou-preview-new-gates-debut-and-surprise-summertime-closures/

Guests on the Disneyland Hotel side of Downtown Disney have a new entrance to use. The new security checkpoint is located next to Din Tai Fung on the Pixar Place side of the shopping district. The new entrance has a new set of restrooms just inside security on the backside of Din Tai Fung. A new mural is also present near the restrooms featuring concept art reminiscent of Herb Ryman art from the 50s and 60s. – https://www.micechat.com/387975-disneyland-news-bayou-preview-new-gates-debut-and-surprise-summertime-closures/

An interesting development has happened with the new turnstiles at Disney California Adventure. The two new entry systems that had been installed have been removed. No word on if they will come back in the future, if another system will be tested, or if they gave up on a new system for now. – DISNEYLAND UPDATE: Too Late to Undo, New Gates Debut, Summertime SNAFU (micechat.com)

A new pre-show has come to World of Color this week. The new segment, titled “Emotional Rollercoaster,” plays just before World of Color is to promote the upcoming “Inside Out 2” movie, which premieres on June 14th. The pre-show is expected to run through the rest of Pixar Fest. – https://www.disneyfoodblog.com/2024/06/02/disney-announced-a-new-inside-out-2-addition-for-a-popular-nighttime-show/#more-941018

A part of Pixar Fest has been discontinued, at least for now. Club Pixar, which was a dance party in the Hollywood Pictures Backlot, had it’s last performance on June 2nd. The show had mixed to negative reviews online, with adults and teens feeling it was too childlike, while it was too late for children to take part in. No word on if it is being reworked, or just won’t return. – https://www.ocregister.com/2024/06/03/disneyland-closes-club-pixar-dance-party-two-months-early/ https://www.micechat.com/387975-disneyland-news-bayou-preview-new-gates-debut-and-surprise-summertime-closures https://www.instagram.com/reel/C7h0sk4yrQi/?igsh=aWU2czduN2U4M3c2
